Cholesterol : Fish Oil and Exercise Make Good Combo

Fish oil combined with exercise limits damaging effects of a fatty meal in obese men.

Obese men with metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance saw a greater benefit when they combined fish oil intake with regular exercise. The combination was better able to reduce the concentration and damaging effect to the cardiovascular system from artery-clogging fatty compounds such as triglycerides and “bad” LDL cholesterol.
